Our Story

We started this journey with two dozen sugar cookies, $120 and a basket at the DJ booth in a Karaoke Bar in  December of 2017. We are a husband and wife team. She, Jocelyn, is a talented Chef specializing in Pastry. She has won a slew of local prizes for tasty treats and wildly artistic presentations. She has worked at some of the more notable local sweet spots and is also currently the head Pastry Instructor for the Cutting Edge Classroom, here in  Knoxville. She puts the whimsy in Defy Explanation. He bakes some stuff and lifts some stuff.
